Munster Joinery have made the short list for the Green Organisation Award 2014
We are delighted to announce that we have been nominated as a finalist in the Green Organisation Award Catagorey at the 2014 Green Awards.
To be shortlisted is a great achievement . To be selected as a finalist recognises the efforts made by Munster Joinery in reducing our carbon footprint and ensuring that sustainability is at the core of our company policy.
We have invested heavily in solutions to produce our own energy. This culminated in the installation of 2
wind turbines on site in 2009. In that year we also commissioned a Biomass CHP plant which is fuelled by sawdust and timber off cuts from the factory.
